St. Luke's Outreach

Many St. Luke’s parishioners devote their time, thought and resources to serve the needs of the greater community. We are proud of our work and prayerful that we will grow in our outreach efforts. Following are some of our ongoing and recent activities.

Disaster Relief Response Team

The parish has recently formed a Response Team to be available to help in time of urgent need and disaster.  The Team will help our own members if there is an urgent need as well as responding to victims in other areas throughout the State of Arkansas because of Tornado, flooding, etc.  If you are interested in this wonderful new ministry contact either the office 501-753-4281 or Mr. Ed Seward at 501-753-6883.

Respite Care Center

St. Luke’s is home to the Respite Care Center, an ecumenical outreach of five North Little Rock congregations. The program, centered in the Parish Hall on Thursdays, provides quality care for the elderly while affording their caregivers a few hours of respite.

Community Groups

St. Luke’s provides meeting space for community groups as needed. They include:

The Lakewood Extension Homemakers

North Pulaski Civil War Roundtable

After School Care Program

St. Luke's offers an After School Care Program which operates from Monday thru Friday from 3:00 - 6:00 PM.  Children K thru 5th grade are invited to enroll for the program.  For further assistance please contact Ms. Kimberly Jenkins, Director at 501-753-4281
